How’s your stress level?
Do you ever feel like you just can’t keep up?
We are asked to do more and more with less and less resources (ie. people) to help do it. Reducing stress is an important part of a healthy lifestyle.
I don’t know about you, but my stress level increases with every stack of work placed on my desk.
I can’t help but wonder what I’m missing down at the bottom of all the stuff on my desk. Am I going to miss a deadline? Forget to do something? Miss an opportunity? How will I get it all done?
I am known in some circles for my organization. People always tell me how put together I am. It came out of necessity. I’m a classic achiever-type but I dislike stress. So I made things easier on myself by developing systems to stay on top of things and get a lot of stuff done, while still maintaining the high standards I had set for myself.
